Merrick surveyors use this technology to capture high-resolution, ultra-wide angle, digital panoramic photography to document existing site conditions in manholes, vaults, and above ceilings for assessments and master planning production. We can embed hundreds of high-resolution panoramic images into a site plan map for our clients. Before ever setting foot on site, clients can have access to a 360° x 350° virtual tour of the project, safely from their computer. In addition, PVDs are used to assist with building system descriptions, identifying sizes and materials of pipes coming into vaults, demolition plans, coordination meetings, and project documentation.
