Have you ever been aware you’re dreaming? Perhaps even controlled what happened in your dreams? If so, you may be a lucid dreamer.

Karen Konkoly is a Ph.D. student researcher in psychology at Northwestern University, specializing in lucid dreams. In 2021, Konkoly was part of a groundbreaking research, where they discovered a way to have a two-way communication with an individual during a lucid dream.

Inside Northwestern's Sleep Lab, Konkoly demonstrates how she conducts her sleep studies and explains the science behind Lucid Dreaming.
