Tincup Pass Video Trail Guide and Review featuring a stock Jeep Renegade, two KL Cherokee Trailhawks, and a stock Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Tincup Pass is near Buena Vista, Colorado and can be started from either St. Elmo, CO or Tincup, CO. The trail is rated as Difficult due a few rough sections, but only reaches a 6 if you take Old Tincup, the original more vertical route to the top. I’d definitely recommend skid plates, rock rails, good tires, and have a true a 4wd system in your vehicle. Disconnecting the sway bar and airing down will make the trip more enjoyable for most.

My name is Dewie Jones and I’ve been messing with Jeeps since I was younger. I’ve daily driven a wrangler my entire driving life starting with a 1997 TJ and now I’m in 2012 JK.
