This is pretty interesting. Looking at sales in 12 cities in Palos Verdes South Bay and Silicon Beach the number of homes sold is about the same as the number of new listings. This is a sign of a healthy market! Palos Verdes Estate, Manhattan Beach, and Playa Del Rey actually had a bit higher number of new listings than sales.
