This is the brand new Ferrari Portofino, and in my mind it's the best looking GT convertible with a retractable hard top in the world! Join me for a first drive and look at the latest offering from Ferrari, the replacement to the California and California T, during the global premiere media drives. From exploring the exterior and design touches, to taking it for a blast on a wonderful road, let's discover what the Portofino is all about.

Getting underway outside Bari, Italy, we can take a full look at the car with the roof up (stay tuned to see the mechanism and what it's like down). From items such as the styling and aero, to glancing at the 3.9l Twin Turbo V8 that makes 600PS and 760Nm. Then it's time to jump on the road and discover the driving modes and whether the Portofino could now be classed as a 'real' Ferrari. Finally a wrap-up with more of the interior and some final thoughts about what this gorgeous car is about.

This particular Portofino is painted in the launch colour, 'Rosso Portofino' and wears a number of carbon fibre exterior options. The base price for the car comes in at £166k, but expect to spend £190k by the time you've kitted out your options.
