In this video I take a look at a classic Batman villain, The Firefly, and show how he went from a jokey nobody to a menacing pyromaniac in the comic books before he made his way to The New Batman Adventures.

With most of the hard work already done, the writers on the show added an extra dimension to the character, making him one of Batman's most disturbing foes.
