John Schneider of Food Afield has recently gone through a major disruption in his life and is starting over with very little money. In Fact, he's found a way to live the life of his dreams with less money than I thought was possible! After his marriage of 30 years ended, John left his prairie farm and headed to the coast to live full time on an old, extremely cheap sailboat. There, he's continuuing to live as much of the land as possible, and now he'll put his wild food procurement skills to the test on the ocean.

Exploring the Pacific Ocean in a small sailing vessel and re-visiting familiar backcountry spots across the rest of the continent.
