50 years ago a ground breaking BBC series called “Civilisation” was broadcast about western art and human identity. It's been remade in 2018 and so BBC London’s has been exploring the capital to see what civilisations have influenced London.

Wendy Hurrell reports from Brixton where she’s been looking into how Caribbean culture has developed in London and heads to The West India Committee to take a look at some Caribbean artefacts.
