Dr. Vaniyambady Abdur Raheem is the author of the Madinah Arabic Books, a series that it could be argued is the most popular ever amongst English speaking Muslims.

In this rare interview in English, he shares some of his life experiences and describes some very interesting episodes from his personal life. He also gives his view on learning Arabic.

I wanted to make a point of interviewing him, in order to personally acknowledge and respect his great contribution to the learning of Arabic. His lifetime contribution deserves to be recognised.
