Deutsche Grammophon continues the genre-defying project Fragments, an invitation from Deutsche Grammophon for thirteen leading electronic artists to respond to a single composer. With one single released each month, Fragments gradually builds over the course of a year.

FRAGMENTS – the album project celebrating music past and present by inviting some of today’s most innovative artists - goes into the second season by reworking the compositions of composer Lili Boulanger starting with electronic duo @wearepolaroit.

“Our creative journey mirrored her hypothetical approach and allowed our composition to organically evolve around it. Complementing this foundation, we also embraced the violin’s ascending motif, seeking to liberate it in a similar fashion to our synthesizer. We aimed to revitalize the distinctive elements of Lili Boulanger’s composition through the lens of electronic sound, breathing new life into her timeless work.”
