Senator Ted Cruz accused the Democratic Senator from Montana, Jon Tester and other house democrats of enter witness protection over the impeachment trial of Alejandro Mayorkas.

“Jon Tester was standing on the floor before the managers arrived, but as soon as the managers arrived, Tester turned and ran, presumably into the cloakroom,” Cruz said of his Democratic colleague who is up for reelection in "one of the most competitive Senate races in the country."

Cruz asserted that President Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas have been "the greatest friend the ‘Mexican Drug Cartels’ have ever had", reporting a %2,600 rise in revenue. Cruz also accused Mayorkas and the President of buying illegal #immigrants one way airplane tickets to the United States from their preferred destinations.

As for Cruz claim against Tester, sources report the Democratic Senator from #Montana was apparently seen leaving the Senate chamber fora portion of the presentation of the articles of impeachment on the floor of the U.S. Senate.

Tester’s office disputed the accusations from Cruz and the House Republican's characterization of Mayorkas and Bidens tenure in dealing with immigration.

“Senator Tester was present in the chamber and is reviewing the articles of impeachment against Secretary Mayorkas,” said Eli Cousins, a spokesman for the Montana Democrat.
