Kings and Generals animated historical documentary series on the middle ages and crusades continues with the first video in our series on the Second Crusade. Previously, we have covered the First (   • First Crusade - Full Story, Every Bat...  ), Third (   • Third Crusade 1189-1192: From Hattin ...  ) and Fourth Crusades (   • Fourth Crusade: From Sack to Restorat...  ) and our coverage starts with the battle of Ager Sanguinis - the Field of Blood in 1119, as the rise of Ilghazi of the Artukids threatens the Crusader states leading to the clash with Roger of Salerno and the Principate of Antioch (   • Ager Sanguinis 1119 - Crusaders' Fiel...  ). In the aftermath, Ilghazi continued to attack the Crusader territory, leading to the battle of Hab, as king Baldwin counterattacked.
