They are dated back to the earliest ceramic tiles found in the Land of Israel.
The tiles were uncovered in archaeological excavations appointed by the Antiquities Authority and Tel Aviv University in the Givati parking lot, are about 2200 years old - from the Hasmonean era.
According to researchers: "This is a find that connects us to the story of Hanukkah."
