I undusted an old hotlap video I had in ACC of the 296 around bathurst and used it for this comparison video of the newest addition of iRacing's GT3 grid.

Now the lap I've done in iRacing is about 3.8s slower but bare in mind that I only had little track time with the new car, so the pace could improve.

The 296 feels much more different in iRacing in a lot of aspects and the driveability is the most significant one. While ACC's interpretation of the 296 has given us a car that's easy to handle and to push, the one in iRacing is much more complicated to deal with and seems much more sophisticated. Whether it's the braking technique or corner entry, the 296 in iRacing is a real challenge ! A must have for any GT3 fan.
