During this video, you will see one of our Plumbase specialists show you how to use The Rothenberger Rofrost Turbo 28 Pipe Freezing Kit.

First, it is important to instantly cover the damaged pipe with the instant repair pipe clamp to stop leaking water. The next step you should choose the correct sized adaptor and add a thin layer of freeze paste to the clamp. Once added add the adaptor to the clamp and add another layer of freeze paste on top of the adaptor. After this, tighten the clamp either side of the damaged pipe. Once both clamps are fitted ensure the ice plugs are atleast 450mm apart. When switched on, ice plugs will form isolating the system and stopping water flow.
