Xiaomi today teased a video showcasing their "Mi Air Charge" technology. They showcased proof of work that they have managed to get 5Watts over-the-air charging functioning. This raises a lot of questions... Is it production ready? Is it safe? When can we expect this to be in our homes?

As it seems that Xiaomi loves to tease new and innovative technology, chances are not very high we will see this be production-ready in the next few months. (Think of the video showcasing the under-display-camera working, over a year ago...) But hopefully we could see technology like this in the next year or two. I am ready for it!
