Having breast reconstruction surgery at Penn Medicine after her mastectomy was never something Kathy had to think about.
“You’re taking my breasts off and you are going to give me new ones,” she said.
And after her breast reconstruction, Kathy decided to undergo nipple reconstruction and tattooing.
A 3D nipple tattoo, also called micropigmentation, re-pigments the area to make it look more realistic.
