Developed in conjunction with The Nebraska Medical Center following guidelines provided by The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Proper use of Healthcare Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) describes the correct donning and doffing sequences of recommended equipment.

HEROES (Healthcare and Emergency Responder Organization Education through Simulation) is an interdisciplinary approach to biological, chemical, radiological, & natural disaster emergencies. Funded through a University of Nebraska Programs of Excellence Grant, HEROES provides training & education for healthcare providers & students across the State of Nebraska, and beyond. Spearheaded by the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Nursing, we collaborate with the College of Medicine, College of Allied Health Professions, & the Center for Preparedness Education.
