A quick video tutorial on how to start a 2018 - 2023 Chevy Traverse with a remote key fob that has a dead battery or is showing the error message "No Remote Detected".

According to the Chevrolet Traverse owners manual, If the remote key fob battery is weak the DIC may display ACTION REQUIRED NO REMOTE DETECTED or PLACE TRANSMITTER IN POCKET TO START when you try to start the Traverse. The DIC may also display REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE KEY and the traverse won't start.

To start A Chevy Traverse showing No Remote Detected:
1. Open the center console and place the bad or dead remote key fob in the transmitter pocket with the buttons facing the Roof of the Chevy Traverse.
2. Press the brake pedal and press ENGINE START/STOP.
