Testing the Tesla aero wheels for the effect they have on range and having a good look at the appearance on the Tesla Model 3 showing the Tesla Aero wheels without cover.

The test will run over a 16.5 mile loop, 4 times, run one with the aero wheels on, run 2 off, then run 3 with the aero wheels back on, finally ending with them off.

The test will measure the Wh/mi over a constant 70mph stretch, regen braking, and acceleration will not make a difference as the measurements were taken between two spots when the Model 3 was up to speed at 70mph.

The heater will be off, as will the heated seats, no wipers, no lights. The tyre pressures were all equal throughout the test and air pressure didn't change. I think the all variables were minimised as best as they could be.

The weather was at 8mph in a South-East direction.

The results were very surprising!
