In 'Cars 3,' Lightning McQueen suffered a severe crash at the Los Angeles International Speedway in the Piston Cup. Many within the community debate whether or not Mattel will release a race damaged/crash version of Rust-eze Lightning McQueen. Following Mattel's cancellation of Damaged Fabulous Hudson Hornet (Doc Hudson) in 2010, their interest in released crash damaged characters has seemed to tapper off.
