A video covering the basics of electric vehicle charging, specifically the Chevy Bolt. This video will cover my experiences in charging a 2017 Chevy Bolt. The video covers Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3DC Fast Charger charging, including impacts of cold weather, and speed of charging based on % of battery charge. The video will also touch on the Cold Battery Charging Software upgrade that Chevy issued in March 2020 to improve cold weather charging speed.
