Ellen welcomed author/chef/entrepreneur Ellen Bennett, who shared how she went from being a line cook with $300 to her name, to the million-dollar business owner of Hedley & Bennett. She described how her single mom raised her to be resourceful, and how it was the driving factor in building her business from scratch. She also explained that she was inspired to write her new book, "Dream First, Details Later," after seeing a lack of women entrepreneurs sharing their own experience in books about business.
