Senior Mallory Moore has stepped up as the leader of the Tascosa Girl’s cross-country team this year, which is unique because she just returned for her senior season. Moore decided to homeschool her Sophomore and Junior years and the 2-year departure made it a challenge both physically and emotionally. However, her dedication and hard work allowed her to step up and lead her team to regionals, set personal records and be a trustworthy teammate. According to her coach, she has received multiple offers to continue her athletic career in college. That’s why she is December’s Class 5A Greater Texas Ford Dealers – Female Athlete of the Month.
