Our Women’s & Children’s Hospital Level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) provides care to premature and complex and critically ill newborns. One of just 22 Level IV NICUs in Texas, our unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to monitor and support your baby’s health.

We understand having a baby that requires intensive care is stressful, which is why we have private rooms so you can bond with your baby. These private rooms not only help you bond with your baby, but also reduces noise and risk of infection for your newborn. When you can’t be with your baby, video technology allows you to watch a video stream of your newborn on your phone or computer. We offer offer customized breast milk with added nutrients to help your little one grow and thrive.
