The most expensive fish in the world is the Japanese Koi Fish. Every year a special event takes place that until now no one was allowed to attend: breeding Japanese Koi. I am in western Japan, in a small mountain village where this special fish is farmed. In this documentary I take you on a trip to Japan where I look for answers to questions such as: how old is the oldest koi? How do they breed Japanese Koi and why is Japanese Koi so expensive?
