In this Friday Khutbah, Sheikh Dr Omar Suleiman talks about ihsan, what it is and what it is not, to explain the concept of serving the “undeserving”. Sometimes, we get hurt by people who did not deserve our kindness, time or energy. It is good that we recognise that perhaps there are situations where we have overexerted ourselves to help or be extra kind to people, who did not reciprocate. Looking for the good in people is a wonderful trait, but it can also lead us to being more vulnerable to being hurt. So, Sheikh explains wonderfully about this concept through the perspective of Ihsan.

There is a beautiful Hadith about Passing on Knowledge:

Reported by Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-As (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Convey from me even an Ayah of the Qur’an.” (Bukhari).
