Introducing the Tesla Plaid Mode. Tesla is now the fastest car in the world. 0-60 mph in less than 2 seconds. The plaid mode is better than the Ludicrous mode. Tesla's new car and new update include a new mode which is better than Ludicrous and is called the Plaid mode.

The Tesla Model is a masterfully engineered vehicle. It stands out on its own as one of the most powerful and efficient cars ever crafted. If you have seen our previous videos we have talked about how the unique design and efficiency of the Model S makes it one of the fastest vehicles in the market. But there's something else, something more important Tesla is working on to make the car go EVEN faster; much, much faster.

Introducing… the Plaid Mode.

This mode will not just make your Tesla faster but much more efficient in power consumption and handling.

In Mel Brooks's Star Wars parody, Spaceballs, you have probably noticed that there is a mode after Ludicrous Speed called the Plaid. Four years ago, Tesla launched the Ludicrous Speed upgrade which would make the car more faster and effortless. However, the CEO, Elon Musk also told us that there would be one more mode that we can expect, the Plaid mode. A "Plaid" mode was originally promised for the new Tesla Roadster and it was also previewed in a prototype for the roadster but it is also planning to make its way into the Model S as well. It began shortly after Porsche revealed its Model S-rivaling Taycan.
Following a week later, Musk brought out some unique Model Ss which were to be the prototype of the Plaid mode. It was not exactly certain what the plaid mode could do with Tesla, but over time these details are more precise and remarkably ingenious.

The first thing to understand about the Plaid Mode is that it's insanely powerful and ridiculously fast. The plaid mode will be able to provide about 1100 horsepower and will be able to do a 0 to 60 in under 2 seconds. Elon Musk even went out to say that under favorable conditions the vehicle can accelerate from zero to sixty in just 1.9 seconds. This takes the vehicle into supercar territory. It's insane 1100 horsepower isn't there just for show. Being an electric car, Tesla would be able to have all the required torque right from the get-go and this is the primary reason why the car can have such an acceleration. Its power also provided enough capability of having the perfect horsepower to get your car going and keep it going. Musk announced during Tesla's "Battery Day" event in September 2020 that the Model S Plaid will have a top speed of over 200 mph, and will have a driving range of over 520 miles. The electric sedan will also be capable of running the quarter-mile in just nine seconds.
