Taylor Swift Dear Reader Lyric Breakdown 📚🥀

today we are breaking down one of my favorite songs from the midnights album, as well as the 3am version. this is the last song on the entire record and i think it got a little lost and overlooked, but lyrically this is a song that i feel is one of taylor’s defining tracks.

in this song she addresses her fans and listeners directly and it feels so personal. and that’s why i chose it to talk about first because i want to bring attention to the lyricism and the self-awareness in her voice :)
