Porsche has unveiled its most powerful and fastest electric car ever - the Taycan Turbo GT.
Two models were presented: the Taycan Turbo GT and the Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach package.
At maximum power, both models can deliver 1092 hp and 1340 Nm
(988 lb-ft) of torque.

The new Taycan Turbo GT has a standard output of 777 hp.
With the new Attack Mode function, the output increases to 1019 hp.
At the touch of a button, Attack Mode delivers an additional 120 kW (160 hp) of power within 10 seconds.
In addition, Launch Control increases the car's power output to 1092 hp for two seconds.

The Taycan Turbo GT accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 290 km/h.

The Turbo GT with the Weissach package adds a fixed carbon fibre rear wing and removes the rear seats.
The total downforce is up to 220 kg.
In total, the Weissach package reduces the vehicle's weight by around 70 kg, resulting in a kerb weight of 2,220 kg.

With the Weissach package, acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes just 2.2 seconds and the top speed is increased to 305 km/h.
Both models have a range of up to 555 km (344 miles) on a single charge.

The secret to the acceleration dynamics and top speed lies in the pulse inverter. In both Taycan Turbo GT models, pulse inverters with a maximum current of 900 amps are used on the rear axle. These deliver even more power and torque than the 600-amp pulse inverter used in the Taycan Turbo S.
The transmission ratio and the robustness of the gearbox have also been improved, allowing for higher torque figures.
In addition, the new rear axle motor is approximately 8 kg lighter.

All Taycan Turbo GTs will benefit from an updated aerodynamic system to help direct air exactly where the car needs it for maximum stability and downforce.

Pricing for both models starts from $230,000.
