In this video, we will be breaking down the cool features of the all-new Toyota BZ4X! So clearly, you don't want to miss out on this, and so, without further ado, let's start with today's video.

Toyota has revealed what could be considered as its biggest all-electric car: the bZ4X, an electric SUV packed with incredible features. Of course, because it's 2021, the thrillingly named bZ4X is an SUV that comes with an all-wheel-drive option and, in Toyota's defense, actually looks cool! The "bZ" stands for "beyond zero," which is Toyota's latest electrification strategy and a sort of sub-brand for its upcoming electric vehicles, starting with the bZ4X.
As the first car in Toyota's bZ all-electric sub-brand, the bZ4x follows the concept revealed earlier this year, regarding styling. At the same time, underneath the body, it's also the first Toyota to sit on the brand's new dedicated e-TNGA battery-electric vehicle platform.
At an event in Japan earlier this week, Toyota unveiled the bZ4X ahead of deliveries starting next year. While Toyota has offered an all-electric SUV in China in the past, the bZ4X could be considered its first battery-electric vehicle since it's the first to use a BEV-dedicated platform and be available worldwide.
Toyota has just taken the wraps off the prototype of the bZ4X electric SUV, unveiling a model that will go on sale next year. The long-awaited RAV4-sized electric sport utility will be Toyota's first genuinely mass-market battery-electric model. It should also be one of Toyota's most important launches for the automaker this decade, acting as the launch vehicle for its bZ, or beyond Zero, series or sub-brand of electric models.

The bZ4X is the first car to use this new electric vehicle architecture that was developed with Subaru.

The all-new BZ4X will include a front-wheel drive. A single electric motor setup will be standard and offer 201 horsepower, but an all-wheel-drive ver
The bZ4X is based on the e-TNGA platform. It will feature what the automaker calls an E-axle, transaxle, and inverter into one unit, powered by a battery integrated into the floor. Toyota worked with one other automaker on the project, incorporating Subaru's all-wheel-drive technology into the SUV, a version of which will also be offered by Subaru soon.

The bZ4X will come with a 64.0-kWh battery pack which should deliver around 230 miles of driving range per charge in the front-wheel-drive model. The more powerful, dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant should drop the total range to about 200 miles per charge. Fast charging will be standard, and Toyota says that solar panels integrated into the bZ4X will capture enough energy for about 1000 miles of driving range per year.
The new platform houses what Toyota calls a "slim battery" on its floor, delivering a low center of gravity and maximizing chassis rigidity and interior space. Toyota claims that the bZ4x offers a feeling of space inside, with a panoramic roof adding to the roomy feel.

Among other features, the bZ4X will offer the latest version of Toyota Safety Sense suite, offering a camera-and radar-based sensor system.

The debut of the bZ4X represents an essential step for an automaker that has openly shunned the transition to EVs. even as it continues to lobby against more stringent emissions standards and EV adoption.
When it goes on sale in mid-2022, the bZ4X will arrive in a rapidly growing segment that entries from Volkswagen will populate.
