An Arizona teacher who revealed she was paid $35,621.25 annually in a social media post was pleasantly surprised when a man she didn't know donated supplies to help her continue the good work. Elisabeth Milich was reluctant to reveal her financial situation last year but the move paid off as Ben Adam sent boxes of books to the Whispering Wind Academy in Phoenix after seeing her post as part of the #RedForEd movement. The educator at the school with many students from low-income families joined thousands campaigning for a 20 percent pay rise and revealed at the same time she often used her own money to help her classes.
