Third day in an it's time to rip down to Cape Canaveral. While we were down there, we checked out the Kennedy Space Center. This was for sure Juan's highlight of the trip. After a 150 mile day, we had to finish it off with the World's biggest burger at Daytona Taproom.

More about Cape Canaveral: Cape Canaveral is a cape in Brevard County, Florida, in the United States, near the center of the state's Atlantic coast. Officially Cape Kennedy from 1963 to 1973, it lies east of Merritt Island, separated from it by the Banana River. NASA's Project Mercury and Gemini space flights were launched from Cape Canaveral, as were Apollo flights using the Saturn I and Saturn IB rockets. Cape Canaveral was chosen for rocket launches to take advantage of the Earth's rotation.

More on The Kennedy Space Center: Kennedy Space Center, one of 10 NASA field centers, is a premier multiuser spaceport with more than 90 private-sector partners and nearly 250 partnership agreements. The presence of commercial companies at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center is larger than ever before, enabling us to embark on a new era of space exploration. Although Kennedy is the agency’s main launch site, the center also is home to facilities that research and develop innovative solutions that government and commercial space ventures need for working and living on the surfaces of the Moon and other bodies in our solar system.

More on the Daytona Taproom: Located in the trendy Seabreeze district of Daytona Beach, Daytona Taproom carries 50 craft beers on tap. The menu features fresh burgers (including the owrlds biggest burger), sandwiches, salads and more.
