Today is Throwback Thursday, and I am dedicating Thursdays to my sales brochure collection! In this video, we op back in time to 1994. The pickup wars are about to begin. The epic battle between Ford with their F-Series, GM with the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC with the Sierra, and Dodge, with the Ram. The then-current Ram truck was showing its age in 1993, and Dodge knew it had to bring the New Ram big for the 1995 model year, and boy did they. Big Rig styling, numerous engine/transmission options, a steel ladder frame fit for an HD truck, big rig styling that looked like no other, a car-like interior with control knobs and buttons big enough to operate with work gloves on, and a standard driver-side airbag. See, in the early to mid 90's, pickups were exempt from requiring active/passive safety restraints. Simple 3-point belts were acceptable, however, Dodge knew that day was coming, so they put a driver airbag as standard, where the Ford and GM offerings didn't even offer them as options.
In any event, times have changed, but it's neat to flip through the pages of time and see what the original big-rig Ram was all about!

Neighborhood Car Reviews gives you an alternative look at the already impressive list of car videos that are online. What we do is a first-person walk-around of the car. We show features and details that are on the particular model being shown. Performance data, safety equipment and the like are usually not shown due to the already enormous amount of videos that cover the aforementioned topics.
We like to cover everything from classics to high-end and everything in between.
