Minna, living with her father John and dealing with her father's new wife Helene and stepsister Jenny, discovers a dream world with Dreambuilders who design dreams. When Minna accidentally alters her father's dream, she realizes she can influence people through their dreams. After a series of dream manipulations, Jenny ends up in a coma, and Minna, with the help of Dreambuilders, must venture into the Dream Trash to save her. They reconcile and, with the Inspector's help, bring Jenny back, uniting their family. In the end, they rebuild their dreams in the real world, and Minna's newfound abilities bring them closer together.
