This video is for the Network analysis and visualization workshop organized at the Virtual Annual Conference of Comparative and International Education Society 2020 (vCIES 2020) in April 2020.

This lecture is designed for beginners to learn from concept and theory to a practical method of the network data analysis with software tools.

There are two lecture videos for this workshop. The first video includes the theory part of my lecture and the second video file is for the practice of the igraph and Gephi with the data files.

This first session is for theory and concept.

The major source I learned from and referred to is:
Newman, M.E.J (2010). Networks: An introduction, Oxford University Press.
