In this video, we'll open up the beehives during winter to check for some important things. We'll check to see how much honey the bees have left for winter, the amount of bees in the hives, the amount of brood they're laying, and we'll even replace some rotting boxes. This video shows the results of good varroa mite treatments and leaving lots of honey on the hives for winter.
