The age-old question: does more money mean more happiness? Can you buy happiness with money? Are rich people happier? If not, how much money is needed to be happy?

I tell the honest truth about my experience coming from a middle-income family, and eventually making hundreds of thousands per year. Plain and simple, money can buy happiness, up to a certain point. After making 100k/year, I didn't feel much happier reaching a higher income threshold. I realized that no matter how much I earn, I will still want more. This is why Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates kept working even after they made their billions.

This video isn't meant to discourage making money, but to let young ambitious viewers know that money isn't everything. There are other things in life such as family, friends, health that are just as important as money. Money should be a small factor in the happiness in your life, not the purpose of your life.

So does money buy happiness? Yes, before 100k/year. After 100k/year: No, money does not buy happiness.
