The All new Honda HR-V Hybrid with e: HEV hybrid self-recharging Powertrain.

-Regenerative braking uses the energy generated by the electric motor when braking to recharge the battery.

-Honda HRV -Hybrid comes with a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, a CVT, a lithium-ion battery and two e-motors that produce a total of 131hp and 253Nm of torque.

The new HR-V isn’t a plug-in hybrid, instead the car’s petrol engine acts as an onboard generator for the electric motors and boot-mounted battery. The HR-V’s computers can automatically decide whether it should run on electricity alone, petrol power or a mix of the two.

Honda says the HR-V will be capable of 0-60mph in 10.6 seconds, while also achieving 52.3mpg. Emissions of 122g/km of CO2 are said to be produced. The Honda HR-V sends its power through a CVT gearbox, it constantly adjusts the gear ratios to keep the engine revving at its most efficient speed. There is no option for a manual gearbox.

2022 Honda HR-V interior and practicality:
The new Honda HR-V’s interior is simple and pragmatic in its design. There’s a 9-inch LCD infotainment system mounted on the dashboard, with new software. It also comes with wireless Apple CarPlay, although you’ll still need a cable to use Android Auto.
There’s also a 7-inch display within the dials that can display safety assistance info alongside your current speed.
Honda’s signature cinema-style ‘Magic Seats’ in the back can be flipped up to give the HR-V a bit more space in the boot.

New Honda HR-V safety technology:
Honda’s ‘Sensing’ package of safety tech comes to the new HR-V. This brings a system that can detect pedestrians and swerve out of the way to avoid hitting them, as well as automatic emergency braking.
Adaptive cruise control is offered too, along with blind-spot monitoring and hill descent control.

The Hond HR-V, Engine drive uses petrol to maintain higher speeds on motorways and charges the battery at the same time.

Hybrid drive uses electric motors together with the petrol engine during everyday driving conditions to provide optimum performance and exciting acceleration.

No fumbling with keys and a fob anymore; simply use the app’s remote-control feature on your smartphone to lock, unlock, start, close and open windows makes the Honda HR-V, a very user friendly Hybrid SUV.

You can set a geo-fence perimeter around your HR-V through the My Honda+ app. This feature will alert you if your car is moved from the designated area.
