Whether you have bad knees, are out of shape, or just want to have some fun, this electric bicycle will be your new favorite commuter ride. Despite being a bulky item, this came in the mail very well packaged, and assembly takes less than half an hour. All you need to do is swing up the front bar and adjust the angle of the brake calipers, attach the labeled foldable foot pedals, and put the seat on. The battery had some charge for me and I was able to ride it right away. I would also recommend filling in some fresh air into the rubber tires. This bike does not require any pedaling to engage the electric assist. The right handle has a twist accelerator knob that powers the rear wheel as soon as you engage it, regardless of which of the 3 gears you're in. Each gear allows you to go on a different top speed. There are dual disc brakes to help you stop or slow down. They work progressively and do a good job of stopping you. The left handle has the light switch (on or off) and an electric horn. Obviously, you can also pedal this bike without electric assist if you feel like working out. The ride is very comfortable due to the suspension, air filled tires and very thickly cushioned seat. There is also minimal noise as this is electric powered and not gas powered. Along with that, there are no exhaust fumes either...just good clean riding fun. Based on the competitive pricing of this bike, how easy it was to setup, how fun it is to ride and its many features, I would recommend this to others. It would especially be a good bike for those that want to ride, but are not physically capable due to injury or quick fatigue.
