This video is about Noah's Ark Sanctuary.
In March of 2022 we visited the Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary, located in Locust Grove, Georgia.

From the Website:

Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Educational Sanctuary for exotic animals as well as farm animals. We also rehab 100’s of animals yearly through our Wildlife Rehabilitation Program. We’re located at 712 L G Griffin Road, Locust Grove, Georgia 30248.

With over 1,500 animals, you can imagine that our veterinary costs and food costs run high. It costs approximately $33,000 per month to feed and care for the animals here at Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary.

This was an amazing stop, and an unexpected one. The tour we took brings your remarkably close to the animals. This is a paid tour and the only tour you can take to get this close.

If you would like to roam the grounds, that is free. We did the walking tour, and it is led by a a knowledgeable staff member. Please check the website for prices, times and hours of operation.

The day we were there the weather was very windy and cold, but they did honor the fact that we made a reservation days ahead of time.

Most of the animals are not allowed to be released back in the wild. The big cats were mostly used for photos and movies and have had too much interaction with humans. The bears were abused for entertainment and circus performances. There are 100's of other sorts of animals and some of the stories on how they ended up here are truly heartbreaking.

Informative and and a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta, this was the last stop on our vacation before heading back to Nashville.

We do not get paid for these videos. All travel and admission fees are paid out of pocket by us.
