Alberta Premier Danielle Smith introduced her Provincial Priorities Act on Wednesday, requiring municipalities to seek provincial approval before receiving funding from Ottawa.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded to Smith's bill on Friday by telling provinces that don't want to solve problems like the housing crisis to "get out of the way."
