I didn't take this to the race track. But I didn't need to.

That's because the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N - the most expensive model the brand has ever sold in Australia, not to mention the. most powerful and fastest! - is the best Hyundai yet. But only if you can afford it.

And at $111,000 AUD before on-road costs, you'd have to really want it, too.

But if you can justify spending this much on an electric car that has some serious credentials on the road and at the track, this is the best choice you can arguably make.

And while some people might think that you'll never need a car that has a 0-100 of 3.4 seconds, or an EV with simulated 'gear shifts', or a fake exhaust note that makes it sound like an i30 N... those people need to experience this car firsthand to see what it's really all about.
