The government's push to potentially ban TikTok in the U.S. has hit a new legal hurdle. Yesterday, TikTok and its Chinese parent company Byte Dance filed a lawsuit calling the ban "unconstitutional". The FBI and congressional leaders warn that the social media platform could face an oppressive influence from China’s government to manipulate and control software on its 170 million users' devices. But TikTok denies any security risk.
