In this case, we're talking about removing all evidence of Charlie from our Flying Cloud Airstream as we prepared it to hand over to the new owners. But that wasn't even the hairiest part—the entire process was a bit overwhelming. If you've ever sold an RV, you know it's the time when you're forced to deal with everything you might have tolerated for far too long! In our case, having a personal relationship with the new owners made it important to make sure that our Airstream was at its peak. We got there, but it took a lot of work. As we drove home from Sacramento for the first of two times, we kind of dreaded the idea of turning around to drive back and pick up the Airstream only three weeks later. Then we remembered seeing a post in the ​KYD Insider's​ private Facebook group about renting a tow vehicle. Although it was a bit more expensive than we thought it would be, it was a major time-saver. Plus, we wanted to try it out to see if it was a viable solution for the community, and we thought it was. In our case, we used Enterprise Truck Rental (not sponsored), but we have since learned about many other companies that rent tow vehicles, so you might want to look around and compare prices.
