An e-bike is only for the lazy, isn't it? No, says Prof. Angela Francke, bicycle professor at the University of Kassel. Because e-bikes are ideal for mountainous cities such as Kassel. No wonder that almost every second bicycle sold in Germany in 2022 was an e-bike. But does the motorized bike support health and fitness just as well as the "normal" bike?
