The Real Reason Why Those Weapons And Items Were Vaulted In Fortnite Season 9

With the Nexus event done and dusted, Season 9 is finally here and, with it, the Drum Gun is now back out of the vault and in the battle royale where it belongs. While we all enjoyed the event, there were a lot of other weapon changes in Season 9 that we just couldn’t wait to talk about. Today, we’ll take a look at some of these changes and explain the real reason why Epic Games decided to vault these weapons.

The Drum Gun has been out of the game for a while and we’re so happy that it’s finally back, but, while this weapon is going into the game for Season 9, there are plenty of others that’re going out of the game and, sadly, will find themselves in the vault. The place no weapon ever wants to end up in. The Pump Shotgun has been a staple of Fortnite since day 1 and, now, after constant whining from us and the rest of the community about how powerful shotguns are, they’re officially in the vault. Yeah, we still can’t believe they actually vaulted the pump shotgun, but we’ll get over it eventually. We also lost another solid weapon in the suppressed assault rifle. We liked what this weapon brought to the table, but it’s no longer in Fortnite.
