Spider-Man: No Way Home set up an exciting future for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His support network is completely gone, and he’s back to wearing plain old tights. But with the Venom symbiote entering the franchise, we know that it’s only a matter of time before Tom Holland gets a little help from some alien goo.

But we don’t think that Venom should be the next villain in the franchise–we would rather see Peter Parker spend a movie with the black suit, laying the foundation for its heel turn and bonding with another host–maybe Mac Gargan’s Scorpion.
