Signal Hill at the Lower Deck Patio Party, Halifax, NS.

People come from far and wide to hear Signal Hill. Such is the case of crew members of the HMRS Urk of the Royal Netherlands Navy who stopped in Halifax recently. They were already big fans of the band and the Lower Deck. After minesweeping manoeuvres they were on their way to New York for NY400 celebrations of the 400th anniversary of the discovery of the Hudson River by Captain Henry Hudson and the Dutch East India Company ship, the Halve Maen (Half Moon).

Another recent fan of Signal Hill Jay Kemp, Director of Photography for the Discovery Channel who visited Halifax in August to work on a documentary on Leatherback turtles.
