Rhonda Springer, M.D., shares her experience of living with Parkinson’s Disease. She describes her initial symptoms and diagnosis, as well as how her symptoms worsened over the years. Then she describes how she learned about Deep Brain Stimulation and eventually made the decision to have the surgery. Through videos of her recovery process the video shows her improvement from before surgery to present day. With her balance, gait and coordination much improved she is able to be more independent and enjoy life with her family. She encourages those with Parkinson’s to learn about their options and pursue treatments that are right for them.
